Pansies and Herbs.

This spring I got to what I've been missing for quite some time. A garden. So Dario helped me with the lifting and planting. We set up several flower boxes and I am also growing herbs. And, though this is all very exciting to me, this blog entry quite possibly could be the most boring one here. Point being, though, that us city folk can still find some outdoor gardening fun!

Well. Not only are Dario and I planning a wedding, but we thought, hey..why not toss in a total renovation to his home...and on top...how 'bout we try to sell it. Plans have been made to make my house our "home" come August. His home will serve as a fantastic starter for a small family or young couple. Dario even says he hopes we get to know the [new] owners (as they will be our neighbors). I think Dario is excited for the move but, this house definitely will always hold a place in his heart. On the list of to do's is: new joists in the basement, total renovation of the kitchen including a knocking down of a wall to make a bar, wall repairs on the second floor, and possibly painting. I am using the same contractor for brand new windows as soon as he is done. Sometimes I wonder: If I had bought a new house in the burbs, what would I be doing with all of my free time? Next up on my list for my house: a brand new paint job to the kitchen! GO GREEN!

Well after almost a year, my college girls were able to finally all catch up at Tammy's bridal shower! It was fantastically fun. I don't think we could stop talking. We met in Lancaster at the same location Stacy had her bridal shower (4? years prior). This time, though, Stacy brought her DAUGHTER (so cute). Everyone looked fantastic. It was great to see everyone.
